President of Karachai-Circassia Boris Ebzeev has decided to liquidate the governmental machinery. His press service reports that the respective amendments to the Republic's Law "On Government of the Karachai-Circassian Republic (KCR)" were discussed at the regular sitting of the government.
"In my opinion, the existence of an independent governmental machinery and the administration of the head of the republic resulted in functional duplication; therefore, I decided to liquidate the governmental structure," said the President.
The press service of the President also notes that after the liquidation the number of officials was reduced and the structure was changed, as the "Interfax" writes. The head of the President's administration acquired additional duties of the office manager of the government of Karachai-Circassia, as the RBC writes.
